1. OUR DEDICATION TO SERVING MEMBERS WITH DISABILITIES
Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU) offers its goods and services along with related information to its members through a variety of delivery methods, including services provided LAFCU branches and ATMs, over the telephone, and through our online and mobile services and at LAFCU-controlled kiosks (“online access”). It is LAFCU’s intent to make its products and services available to its members and potential members with disabilities (“users”). All LAFCU information, products and services which are made available through online access (“online offerings”) are also available to users at our physical facilities.
2. ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS AT CREDIT UNION BRANCHES AND ATMS
LAFCU strives to ensure that users are able to access our products and services in our branches and ATMs. Outside our branches, we ensure our parking spaces and sidewalks comply with applicable laws and regulations. In our branches, we have service representatives who greet and offer assistance to users, and representatives who are able to read and explain our disclosures and forms to those who require such assistance. We also are committed to ensuring individuals in wheelchairs are able to access our services. Our ATMs provide keys that contrast visually with the background, with command keys that are tactilely discernable, and instructions that are in Braille, as well as headphone jacks.
3. ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS FOR TELEPHONE SERVICES
For users with hearing impairments, you can contact us anytime by calling us toll-free at (877) 695-2328 using a Teletypewriter (“TTY/TDD”) device.
4. ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS FOR ONLINE OFFERINGS
It is LAFCU’s goal to ensure that all online offerings are compliant with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), regulations issued thereunder, as well as applicable state disabilities laws. LAFCU, to the extent possible without fundamentally altering its online offerings, seeks to satisfy the online accessibility recommendations of the Worldwide Web Consortium under its Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/) version 2.0, Level AA Conformance (WCAG 2.0 Level AA). All LAFCU-controlled online offerings must either conform to the ADA or their content and functionality must be made available by alternative means to users.
